Urban Loft Paper crafting Kit

I love Plexiglas right now and there are so many different ideas and way to use it. You can actually purchase it pre-cut for you at a glass store, or buy sheets of it at local hardware/building store and cut it yourself. It cuts best with a tile saw though (I let my husband do it, LOL).. But the finished project is so fun! It makes a great gift or just a fun project to hang from a tree, hook, wall or wreath in your house.

To begin, remove ALL plastic coverings from each Plexiglas (both sides).

 

Album one:

Cut Green floral paper 2.5" x3" long

Cut purple floral paper: 3"x1" long

and layer according to picture.

 

 
using your acrylic stamp, stamp onto white cardstock on on back of any of your patterned papers (that have a white background). Cut out.

Layer onto album as shown, then layer picture on top.

Use decorative rubons from Cosmo Cricket and apply section of border right above picture.
Place My Minds Eye gems inside each big dot of border as shown.
Continue same border at the bottom of the note card, also adhering gems inside each dot. (this time the border facing the upside down).
Adhere 2" piece of blue velvet ribbon overlapping picture. Adhere button on top of ribbon as shown.
Thread a piece of wire through top hole, twist at bottom, then through top, thread beads and buttons alternation. Then twist top to keep beads from coming off (creating a loop) for hanging.
 
For second page: Cut blue floral piece: 3.75"x 1/75" long.

Cut Turquoise/green dot paper 3.5"x2.75" long. Use decorative scissors across top of paper and then punch holes through each scallop creating a "eyelet look". Layer onto Plexiglas
Place picture on top of papers then raw chipboard floral piece overlapping picture. as shown.
Place Crocheted flower and letter "T", overlapping chipboard.
Use decorative ribbons and create border overlapping paper and chipboard piece at bottom.
Place large button on center of Crocheted Flower
Use small gems and place around flower chipboard piece with glue dots, as shown.
As before, thread a wire through both the first page and now the second page. Thread chipboard, sequins, and beads through wire.
 
For last page cut orange floral paper 3.5"x 2.25". Use scalloped scissors on one edge.

Cut Blue floral paper: 1.5"x3"

Cut Green floral paper: 2.5"x1.75"

Layer as shown.

Use ink to color floral chipboard piece.
Cut piece of journaling paper 1.5"x2" long and adhere over top of PP papers. Then adhere picture over top. Place Inked flower onto over papers and picture. Place large sequins into center of floral chipboard and then use the white oval sticker on top of sequin. Top it off with a button..
 
Wire your last page onto the other two, then fill the bottom hole with wire and thread a beads and a large button on bottom.

 

This project is fun and pretty easy to make. With all the fun doodads in your kit, you can make several of these projects. This would be fun to hang from a place in your home, in a wreath, on a tree. Lost of possibilities..
